Support for Children and Families

At Foxes Piece School we strongly believe that the best outcomes for young children occur when parents/carers work in partnership with our school.

Working with Mrs Hawkins, our Home School Link Worker is an effective way in which we can help ensure that your child flourishes in our care. Each family is unique with a different combination of characteristics- she is here to support you. Come and chat over a cup of coffee.

How do you make contact?

Parents, carers, staff and children can ask Mrs Hawkins to become involved. With your consent, she will explore the difficulties your child is experiencing and identify the best way to help. Pop into the School Office and ask if she is available or to make an appointment for a later date. (Mrs Hawkins works Monday to Thursday).

We also have regular coffee and chat mornings – look out for dates in the school newsletter.

She will complete a referral form with you. This is a confidential service regarding personal issues. If necessary she would seek permission to share the information with staff at school or with other agencies.

Should a child protection issue be identified, Mrs Hawkins is legally bound to follow government guidelines.
