Welcome to the Friends of Foxy section.
At Foxes Piece School we believe that developing close relationships with children’s families and the local community are vital. The school encourages open communication and creates regular newsletters detailing events and celebrating successes. These are sent home via children and also posted on our website.
We are always grateful to those parents who come in to school and help. Don’t be shy! If you have some spare time or a particular talent or area of expertise then we would love to hear from you. Currently, parent helpers are involved in supporting children with reading, phonics and maths. Some prefer to help practically in creative subjects such as cookery, sewing, music and technology. So if you are free, even for an hour a week, come in and speak to Mrs Ward who organises our parent helpers – she would love to hear from you.
We have a very active Friends Association (Friends of Foxy) who organise many fun events for all the pupils in the school; including discos, bingo and a summer fete. These special events raise valuable funds for the school which enables us to enrich the curriculum and provide additional resources for the children.
The Friends of Foxy meet regularly to discuss future events and would value any additional support which you may be able to give. Please contact Mrs Sarah Hunter (email@example.com) for further information about forthcoming events and to offer your support.
