Our class are all really enjoying being back together and we are working on the topic of food. We will be tasting fruits from the story of "Handa's Surprise" and fun stories about pizzas and spider sandwiches! We have our role play fruit and vegetable shop and in our outdoor area, our very own Pizza Hut that we all enjoy playing in.
In Literacy we continue to work hard to learn letter sounds and also digraphs and trigraphs.
Here are some of them - ee/oa/or/th/ch/sh/ng/ar/igh/air/ear.
These will really help us in our reading and writing. We are also practising writing all letters correctly. Learning to write tricky words will be really helpful as we will need them a lot in our writing.
Here are some of the words - the/to/he/she/we/they/was/are.
In Maths we are continue to practise our careful counting skills and are now working on recognising numbers up to 20. We are looking closely at lots of different coins and having fun working with them.
