During the first half of the Autumn Term, our topic will be the history of medicine. We will look at treatments and the role of doctors across history as well as study how medicine has changed over time. After half term, we will study Texas and look at its geographical features, which will tie in with our class book, 'Holes' by Louis Sachar.
In English we have started by looking at diary entries and how we can improve our sentences and ensure we adopt a point of view. We will also look at non-chronological reports, before moving in the second half of term to biographies and letters of complaint. In Maths, we are working on consolidating and improving our times tables knowledge as well as building on our place value skills and knowledge of the 4 operations. We will then look at fractions, decimals and percentages.
There will be plenty to keep us busy!
