Priorities for 2019-2020

GLD - To maintain school trend and target children to achieve exceeding levels in Reading, Writing and Maths. 

Target for 2020

  • 75% of children to achieve GLD

 

Phonics Yr 1 - To ensure good quality teaching remains consistent across Year 1 and percentage of children pass the phonics returns to 80+%.

Target for 2020

  • 80% of children pass phonics check in Year One

 

KS1 - To target children working just below KS1 expectation to achieve ARE by the end of year.

Target for 2020

  • 75% of pupils in Year 2 to achieve ARE in Reading, Writing and Maths 

 

KS2 - To ensure writing teacher assessments are in line with Reading and Maths SATS results.

        - To use PIXL to support children just below end of KS2 expectations to achieve ARE. 

Target for 2020

  • Percentage of children achieving ARE in Reading, Writing and Maths combined is 70+%
  • Percentage of children achieving GD in Reading, Writing and Maths combined is 20+%
