Foxes Piece School

A busy week in Year 6

Year 6 has had a great week around different learning opportunities and embracing variety.  We started the week with planting yellow daffodils for Mental Health Awareness day with Miss Kerr.  The children enjoyed this activity and also being out in the fresh air.  We have also been exploring Black History Month and have started learning about the Windrush story - we have been thinking about our equality value and what it means.  Towards the end of the week, some of Year 6 took part in the Bikeability workshop, where they practised riding their bikes on the playground first and then moved onto the road.  The children did really well and the coaches complimented their impeccable manners.

It has been an action packed week and we have enjoyed it all very much.
