Swan Upping 2019
We were so fortunate for the children to have the opportunity to learn about Swan Upping. David Barber explained what Swan Upping is and what they do to protect the Royal swans; the Swan Markers of the Vintners’ and Dyers’ livery companies explained about the boats they use and the problems swans encounter with fishing tackle. The children also had the opportunity to see and a touch a cygnet.
