Year 6 Greek Day
To mark the end of their topic on Ancient Greece Year 6 spent 2 mornings celebrating all things Greek. The first morning was spent painting cups with Greek patterns, designs and mythical creatures. The cups were then glazed and fired, so they will be suitable for everyday use.
The second morning was spent learning Greek dancing (thank you Miss Byron), cooking delicious Greek food, learning a few words of Greek and planning and budgeting for a Greek holiday for Mrs Potter! Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the mornings and are now expert in all things Hellenic!
