  • Easter Egg raffle!

    Big thanks to the Friends of Foxy for organising a fantastic Easter egg raffle, the children had 50 chocolate treats to choose from! FoF raised £119 - well done. 
  • Mother's Day stall in school

    Special thanks to Friends of Foxy for organising another successful Mother's Day stall in school. All classes had the chance to purchase a gift for that 'special lady' in their life and even have it gift wrapped by Mrs Hunter. 
  • Red Nose Day

    The children had great fun dressed in their red clothing for the day. We sold red noses all week and made a total of £160 towards this event. Thank you. 
  • Year 4 Culture Day

    The children in both Year 4 classes had an activity filled Culture Day which consisted of aboriginal art lessons, a Bollywood dance class, language lessons and a cookery lesson based on food from around the world at Great Marlow School.
  • Reception Class to Pizza Express

    The children in Oak class had a wonderful morning experiencing what it is like to prepare food in a busy restaurant. We created our own pizzas with cheese and tomato toppings. We brought them back to school and ate them in the classroom. It was great fun.
  • Whole School RSPCA Visit

    The whole school had a special visit from the RSPCA. The children watched a short DVD on how important it is to care for pets in their homes.
  • Year 6 visit to Marlow Police Station

    The children in Year 6 had an interesting and enjoyable visit to Marlow Police station. They learned about fingerprinting, life in the cells and explored a police car. Thank you PCSO Bowles for arranging this visit for us.

     

  • World Book Day

    This year we didn't dress up but we had lots of fun activities in school to celebrate "World Book Day". The children donated 'pre-loved' books for a second hand book sale in the school hall. We also had a book fair in school the following week, as soon as we get the total from Scholastic we will let you know how much the school raised.
