  Year 1 have been counting in tens and ones . Here they are sorting book fair booklets into piles of 10 to give to all the classes!

  Year Five have been developing their journalism as they have gone back in time to report on the incredible Apollo 11 Mission. They researched, planned and then applied key computer skills to create their own Newspaper reports. We are all really happy with how they turned out!

• Year 3 - Science

  During Science Week, Year 3 took on a camouflage challenge.  We had to hide different materials around the school in partners to reach a conclusion about how best to camouflage a butterfly.  We concluded that the the colours on the butterfly had to match the environment and the pattern could not be too busy otherwise it would be hard to find an area to hide in.  We then used this conclusion to design our own butterflies.  We really enjoyed this investigation!

  Year 2 explored our woodland habitat, they discovered what is alive, dead and what was never alive! 

  

• Year 5 Football Tournament

  Selected Year 5 boys went to Cressex Astroturf to play alongside other local schools. We were incredibly proud of the determination and team spirit our boys had. 

  

• Year 1 - Marble Treat

  Year 1 received their 40 marbles and decided to visit the ICT suite for their treat! 

  

• World Book Day Fun!

  We celebrated World Book Day in school by dressing up as our favourite book characters for the day. It was great fun!

• Year 3 trip to Ashmolean Museum

  Last week, Year 3 visited the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.  We learned in depth about the Ancient Egyptians (our current topic) and got to go on a treasure hunt around the museum.  We had a great time!
