  • Year 4: Mad Maths

    On Thursday, Year 4 took part in mad Maths Morning.  They spent the morning learning about statistics.  They collected items from the field and outdoor area, sorted these items into categories, displayed this information in a tally chart, created bar charts on the playground with chalk and finally displayed their data on a line graph.  They had a great time!

     

  • Year 6: Mad Maths

    Year 6 have enjoyed Mad Maths this morning where they had a go at creating geometric designs - curves of pursuit. The children were thrilled with their completed designs and we were very proud of their resilience and determination - well done Year 6!

  • Year 5 to SWBGS

    The children visited Sir William Borlase's School to watch the dance performance of 'Windrush' which told the story of the Windrush generation. The children really enjoyed watching the dance pieces, especially the flips and jumps. 

  • Year 1 to Windsor Castle

    Year 1 had a great time at Windsor Castle. They watched the changing of the guard, visited King Henry VIIIs grave, went inside St George's Chapel and went into the State Apartments to see Queen Elizabeth's coronation dress! They also found the room where the 1992 fire began which the children were really interested in. They were all very excited to attend the coronation of Queen Kinza! T

  • Year 5: Homework

    Year 5 spent Friday afternoon presenting their fantastic pieces of homework. The children created PowerPoints, posters and leaflets all about the Commonwealth Games, and enjoyed sharing their interesting facts with the rest of the class. Well done!
