Take a look at our latest news happening in school at the moment.
Today, the whole of Key Stage 2 got together to watch a special assembly from the NSPCC. It taught the children how to 'Speak up to stay safe.' In the afternoon, Year 4 created posters to share what they had learnt to show other children what to do if they were ever feeling unsafe or worried about anything. We linked our learning to understanding The Rights of a Child.
Year 1 selected one of the wettest days of the year to conduct a science experiment to determine the best material to use when making an umbrella!
We talked about fair testing and decided we needed to use the same amount of water, pouring from the same height when testing each material.
We decided plastic would be a really great material for an umbrella.
Year 6 Group 2, enjoyed making apple pies with Mrs Cadogan for their DT project and learnt lots of new skills and techniques. They particularly enjoyed carving leaf designs out of the pastry dough and adding them to their delicious apple pies!
Year 3 have enjoyed being reading ambassadors today with Year 2.
There were lots of exciting stories being read together.
Today selected Y5 and Y6 pupils took part in an inter-school indoor rowing competition. The teamwork and 'have a go' attitude was amazing.
Well done everyone
Year 3 earned their marble treat and chose creative arts and to watch a movie.
Well done Year 3.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the climbing wall activity in school. They all managed to have several goes and cheered each other on! It was definitely a great experience.
