Year 6 to GMS for Sports!
Fri 28 Jun 2019As part of the transition process to secondary school Y6 children (irrespective of which school they will be going to in September) visited Great Marlow School for a morning of sports run by the GMS PE leaders. The children played basketball and rounders as well as trying out rowing ergos. The skill and confidence of the GMS leaders was amazing and the children came back buzzing but exhausted!

KS1 Scooter Skills

Year 6 trip to Kensham Farm
Wed 26 Jun 2019Last week some Year 6 children were lucky enough to visit Kensham Farm in Cadmore End where they discovered all about growing wheat. As well as learning about wheat, the children had a tour round the farm, hunted for insects in the wheat field and very much enjoyed sitting in tractors, combine harvesters and even a grain bucket. Thank you very much to everyone at Kensham Farm we had a great day!

Year 6 to Longridge
Tue 11 Jun 2019At the end of June each Year 6 class was lucky enough to spend 2 days, including an overnight stay, at the Longridge Activity Centre. They took part in a range of activities including climbing, crate stacking, kayaking, raft building, laser tag and - the highlight for many- the giant swing! Although the weather on the first day was really wet, they all had a great time and made memories that will stay with them forever!
