Year 6 have been learning about algebra, function machines and forming expressions in Maths. The children have enjoyed learning through the pictorial, abstract and concrete approach and have really given it their all in understanding this area of learning. Great job Year 6!
Selected Year 5/6 children got to visit the new coding school in Marlow High Street. The children learnt coding and digital literacy in their fun-based activities. They let them play games relevant to their age group, using their acquired skills to enhance the creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills of the children.
Year 5 and 6 took part in our inter-house sports tournament. They enjoyed playing football, bench ball and rock/paper/scissors/jump against each other. It was a wonderful afternoon that both the teachers and children all enjoyed it.
On Monday, the eco warriors started to construct our new willow tunnel. They cut the willow to the correct lengths, hammered a metal pole into the ground to create a space for the willow whip and then carefully placed the whips in the holes.
