  On Thursday 30th January, BMX UK Champion Mike led a fascinating assembly and taught some of the children BMX skills. He ran a whole school assembly, which was at times jaw-dropping, demonstrating his amazing skills.  Mike was a brilliant role model, he discussed resilience in his life which is such an important skill for our children to learn. It was a great day for everyone.

  Year 6 had a great time investigating shadows in science.  As well as revising what we already knew about light, we discovered that light appears to travel in straight lines.

  We were thrilled to see so many children get full marks in their spelling test this week. They enjoyed a well deserved round of applause from their peers (as well as a little prize from the prize box).  

  

• Year R - Little Red Riding Hood!

  Reception have enjoyed listening to the story of Little Red Riding Hood and they decided to dress up in disguise just like the wolf.  We wonder if you can guess who is who!
