Take a look at our latest news happening in school at the moment.
We love our daffodils and blossom around school, our site looks so beautiful.
We had a mixed team from our Year 5 class take part in a Football Tournament at Cressex AstroTurf with other local schools. Their perseverance, sportsmanship and encouragement to each other was lovely to see
Today, the Eco Warriors planted around 60 trees that, once they have grown a little taller, will be planted around the school. They took the samplings and put them in pots to give them room to grow. We now have Hazel, Silverbirch, Hawthorne, Dogrose, Crab Apple and Rowan trees.
On the 10th of March Year 3 took a trip to Great Marlow School's textile department where they used sewing machines to finish their textiles project. Each child machined and filled their bean bags and earned their sewing machine license! They look great.
Year 6 attended their last Mini-Police session where the Armed Police Team visited our school today. The children met two armed police officers who kindly offered their time in answering all the interesting questions Year 6 had ready for them. Year 6 had the opportunity to touch and carry some of the equipment, such as the police helmets, shields and safety plates for the police vests - they could not quite believe how heavy they were!. So many great questions were asked and the police officers had all the answers! We feel so lucky to have been part of this project and it is great to know that some children aspire to join the police force. Thank you Mini-Police - we have enjoyed the sessions very much.
Four of our Y6 Eco Councillors went to Marlow C of E School this week to meet with eight other local schools to discuss the importance of environmental issues in and around our school community. They were great ambassadors for Foxes Piece and learnt lots about environmental issues. We are planning lots of shared activities and events that the team will communicate with everyone shortly.
