• Classroom 'Book Theme' Door Display

  The staff have designed their classroom doors with a 'book theme'. We had some wonderful creations and it was really hard to choose a winner so there were two! Well done to Reception for The Jolly Postman and Year 5 for Harry Potter. 

   

  All the doors looked absolutely fabulous, well done to everyone who took part! 

  

• Year 4: Virtual School Trip1

  This week, Year 4 went on a virtual school trip to Chester Zoo with BBC LIve Lessons.  They loved learning all about how animals adapt to their environment and how they have evolved over the years.
   

  

• Year 5: Marble Treat

  This week, Year 5 have been working hard to earn their last few marbles. They had great success and had their marble treat yesterday which was to watch a film. They chose to watch The Borrowers and found it very funny! 

   

  

• Year 4: Art

  All this term, Year 4 have been learning about 'bodies' in art.  They used a variety of techniques and materials to recreate different styles of bodies.  Last week, they created clay models in the style of the artist Giacometti. This was a tricky task and they had to use 2 of our Foxes Values (independence and resilience) to help them to complete the task.

  

• Year 6: Science

  As part of their current science topic on evolution, Year 6 experimented to see which type of bird beak would be most suited to different types of food.  It was surprisingly hard to pick up food, and Year 6 were very glad they weren't birds!

  

• Year 6: Marble Treat

  Earlier this week Year 6 had great fun during their well-earned marble treat.  With a choice of football or apparatus PE, all children were active.  They all enjoyed themselves and are now looking forward to earning more marbles, so they can have another treat in the not too distant future!
