• Reception Stay and Play

  This week we were able to invite our new families in to 'Stay and Play' sessions in the Reception Classroom. It was another step in the 'returning to normal' plan and the children loved their families learning alongside them.

  

• Year 3 - Antibullying Week

  Year 3 have been looking at Anti-bullying week. They discussed who they could speak to if they were worried about something as well as how they could support each other. The children used their hand prints to identify 5 people they can talk to and then coloured them in.

  

• A week's learning in Year 1

  Y1 have enjoyed lots of new learning this week.

   

  *  We went on an Autumn walk with a checklist - we looked for the signs of Autumn around our school.

  * We learnt to type in the ICT Suite - we were really good at it. 

  * We designed our own odd socks to show our awareness of Anti-bullying week.

  * We learnt a bit about the London Marathon (we can't even imagine how far that might be!!!). We were lucky enough to hold a real medal from last weekend!

  * We are enjoying our Toys topic too - especially when it's Golden Time on Friday!

   

  

• Year 4 Marble Treat

  On Thursday last week, Year 4 had their first marble treat.  They voted to have time in the hall with the gymnastics equipment.  They had a great time which was well deserved after all their hard work this term so far! Well done Year 4. 

  

• Year 6 Mini Police Project

  Year 6 children completed their application forms and have been recruited by the Thames Valley Police team to be part of the Mini Police project.  Children were presented with their badges, certificates, police uniform and were informed of their first mission! It was such an exciting day and we cannot wait to get started with our mission! 

   

  

• Girls Yr5/6 Football Tournament

  Some of the Year 5 & 6 girls represented Foxes Piece School at the football tournament at Cressex Astroturf today. They played so well - we came third in the tournament. Well done girls!
