• Meet our School Councillors

  This week our new School Councillors met for the first time. Each class elects their own representatives for the year to help us make school the best it can be.

   

  They meet once a term to discuss upcoming events. They are currently planning “Children in Need”.

  Today, Year 3 completed their final lesson all about Europe. We looked at two case studies about Belgium and Spain. We practised flamenco dancing and tasted some Belgium waffles!

  All of the bands showcased what they have learned so far this term, and today they shared their progress with their parents.  It was fantastic! 

  

• Year 5 Camping Experience

  Year 5 had a fantastic time last Friday camping on the field. They had the opportunity to build their own tents, do some outdoor cooking, light their own fires, play archery and take part in many other activities. They really had a memorable experience.

  

• One World Day

  We have had an amazing day in school today with Bollywood dancing, a French market, Icelandic art and Ukulele workshops plus lots and lots more. We love celebrating diversity and inspiring the children to travel the world and gain new experiences - all in one day!

  Thank you to all the parents and families who came along to support our youngest children in the fun sports carousel on Tuesday.  The weather was perfect and the children loved the range of fun fitness tasks to complete.
